Season of Giving
Over 1,000 individuals - students, parents, and siblings - were impacted by the generous spirit of the Denver community this holiday season. Hundreds of students and families were adopted by individuals and organizations and received Thanksgiving baskets and Christmas presents. Click here to read about the holiday adoptions.

Recruiting Denver Kids, Inc. runners
Put on your running shoes, the Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon is right around the corner. Held on May 19th and 20th, this event is an opportunity for community members to support Denver Kids, Inc. through fundraising and raising awareness. Click here to learn how to get involved.
Colorado Gives Day
Thank you for making Colorado Gives Day, December 6th and 7th, a huge success. In a 36 hour period we received 103 donations, totaling $20,488, including nearly $500 from the Incentive Fund. In its second year, Colorado Gives Day provided a platform for 928 Colorado non-profits raised $12.4 million dollars for their programs. It is because of the passion and dedication that our stakeholders have for the work of Denver Kids, Inc. that we are able to have a profound impact on our students’ chances for academic success and we thank you for your partnership.

Inclusiveness Spotlight
As an organization that is committed to continuous learning and integrating inclusiveness in every aspect of our work, when possible, Denver Kids, Inc. will make available educational resources that are contributing to our inclusiveness process. The Danger of a Single Story by Chimamanda Adichie provides insight into how our experiences create our perceptions of reality and that a single story of a person, culture, or community is not the whole story.
